Meet Leanne

Hello! I am Leanne and I have created a thriving private practice in Houston, TX while also creating time and space for a life filled with things I love.

It wasn’t always that way, however. In 2018 I had a record year. I brought in $225,000 in my solo practice—a long way from my first year in 2013 when my initial goal was to bring in $1000 a month! It was amazing, but also exhausting. I was working a LOT, not only with clients but also on maintaining my practice along with a few new projects.

In short, it was unsustainable. So I found a different way. I’ve learned a lot through the journey such as:

1. The power of focusing your energy and maximizing what works

2. The importance to not letting your practice run you

3. How easy it is to burn out and how to see burnout as a source of information vs. a failure

I created the Inspired Therapist because I want to share what I have learned along the way (I am an ENFP -- it is in my nature!). I want to empower you to have a business that is successful, sustainable and enjoyable. I have seen how easily success can overtake enjoyment, and also how not having success can take the fun out of, well, everything! We need both.

I have worked with a number of coaches to help me figure all of this out, and none of them were quite right. They each had a piece, but I wanted someone who could put it all together for me. I wasn’t able to find the perfect coach—so I figured it out on my own and then decided to become a coach who could do that for other therapists.
